Description

This announcement replaces the announcement issued 10/23/01 for Solicitation 52ABNW200020. This announcement adds the restriction that this procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Drydock and Repairs to the NOAA Ship KA'IMIMOANA. Ves sel characteristics : length 224 ft; draft 15 ft; hull -- welded steel/ice strengthened; displacement 2,301 tons; gross tonna ge -- 2,014; net tonnage 604. Additional characteristics can be found at http://www.moc.noaa.gov/ka/general.htm Work will in clude, but not be limited to: drydocking and undocking, underwater body preservation, hull preservation, main propulsion gen erator engine overhaul, engine room bilge preservation, repair HIAB 450 crane, repair HIAB 120 crane, and buoy deck modifica tions. Anticipated period of performance January 7-February 15, 2002. Vessel available for inspection in Honolulu, Hawaii December 3-5, 2001. This is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Size limit for small businesses is 1,000 employees.
