CH2M HILL, Inc., acting as a procurement agent on behalf of and solely for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Tel Aviv, Israel, is posting this advertisement seeking interested and capable U.S. sources only, for inclusion on a "Distribution List." Firms seeking inclusion on this list will receive copies of Requests for Quotations for a "Water Well Service Derrick" as explained below. This blanket advertisement will be valid for one (1) month from the date of publishing. The RFQ listed below is anticipated to be issued within 2-months. There will be no further notices before issuance of the RFQ. Firms who believe they have the capability and capacity to provide similar equipment should send a written request to: Mr. James R. Bareinger, CH2M HILL, Inc., Fax (503)625-3888, e-mail jbareing@ch2m.com, or mail to 195 S.E. Roy St., Sherwood, OR 97140. This request shall include name of company, full address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address for contact. It is the firm's responsibility to ensure update information on the CH2M HILL, Inc. "Distribution List" in case of any changes. The RFQ will include: (1) The manufacture and shipment via US Flag Ship, one (1) mobile 80-ton workover derrick and its complimentary components for the servicing of multiple water wells in the West Bank. (2) Operational Instruction for operators and mechanics in well servicing, equipment operations and well pump extractions carried out either in the United States or in the West Bank. (3) Operational training session with manufacturer's representative at selected well site in the West Bank. A Fixed-Price Contract is anticipated. Payment will be made by CH2M HILL, Inc. in U.S. Currency. Financing will be through USAID project Water Resources Program (WRP), Phase III. Offeror's will be given 45 days from the date of issuance of the RFQ to prepare and submit their offers. Offers must be valid and open for acceptance for a minimum of 120 days from the date set.
