Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a commercial item prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation M67004-02-Q-0014 incorporates provisions in effect through Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13 and Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. The NAICS Code is 33634 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quotation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is a fully competed procurement. The order will be Firm-Fixed-Price, FOB Destination for 250 Each National Stock (NSN) 5340-01-446-7988, Part Number A1-2247T20 or 15RS5. Inspection and Acceptance will be accomplished at MCLB, Albany, Georgia an d the delivery is to be 90 days after receipt of order, incremental delivery is acceptable. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses are being implemented in the requirement. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies except paragraph (s): Ignore (a), (d), (h) and all of (i). Paragraph (b) offers may be submitted by FAX and in addition to the DUNS number requirement in (j), the contractor is required to include their DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) number. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, is applicable less paragraph (b). Also, all subfactors and factors are significantly less important that price except delivery. Delivery is approximately equal to price. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items with Alternate I, shall be completed with proposal to validate size status. Con tractor must submit TIN information with proposal. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, is applicable. Under FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, the following apply (a), (b) (11) (12) (13) (14) (15) (20) (25), (d) and (e).
