Description

The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to provide VA Iron Mountain, Michigan radiology services for its beneficiaries in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Place of contract performance is near or around the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Due to patient care requirements, the prospective Contractor must be capable of performing the services within a ten (10) mile radius of Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Radiology procedures will consist of the Technical Component only. No professional component services are required. Anticipated period of performance is February 7,2002 through February 6, 2003 with three (3), one-year option renewal periods, at the Government's discretion. Contract type is firm-fixed price. Anticipated award effective date is February 7,2002. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about October 26, 2001. This solicitation is issued under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 USC 8153. This procurement is being conducted under the Subpart 13.5 test program where simplified acquisition procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. NAICS number is 621512. Size standard is $10 million. Non-personal services.
