- Description
- Provide Comprehensive Workplace Solutions and Services (CWSS) for various projects within the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Area. (CWSS incorporates tasks from the Integrated Occupancy Services and Space Planning Services contracts currently in use in the National Capital Region of GSA with new tasks required by Integrated & Alternative Workplace solutions.) CWSS includes such things as: Space Analysis and Requirements Studies; Project Development Studies; Strategic Workplace Planning; Solicitation for Offers (SFO) Development and Assistance; Program of Requirements Development (POR); Management of the Programming, Design and Construction Process; Technical Services (such as construction cost estimating, audio-visual consulting, telecommunications and data studies, and sustainability/LEED consultation); Inventory/Facility Documentation; Project Budget; Master Project Planning; Move Budget/Funding; Occupancy Plan and Schedule; Move Coordination and Supervision; Space Acceptance; Post-Move Services and Spatial Data Validation. Services shall commence on or about April 1, 2002, and continue for a period of one year with the Government having the unilateral option to renew for four additional one year periods. Multiple awards will be made as a result of this solicitation. Source selection procedures will be used (see FAR 15.3). The Government intends to award without discussions so offerors should not expect to have an opportunity to correct deficiencies in their offers. The evaluation factors for award include: Experience and Past Performance; Key Personnel and Operating Personnel; Corporate Approach; and Subcontracting Plan. Copies of the solicitation will be available on or about November 27, 2001. A pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled for December 17, 2001. Additional details on this conference will be provided in the solicitation. GSA is issuing this solicitation electronically only. Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.eps.gov.
