Description

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), through the Program Support Center, General Acquisitions Branch, plans to award a 10 month sole source Simplified Acquisitions to Karen J. VanLandeghem, 537 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights, Il. The anticipated date of award is November 26, 2001. The Contractor shall be responsible for, but not limited to the following: The Contractor shall assist in the development and writing of the Issue Brief and their dissemination. The Contractor shall complete a Joint Product Planning Form for each of the Issue Briefs. The Contractor shall track the progress of the analytic work each investigator is conducting, and shall review results with investigators and decide which findings are most policy relevant and should be included in the Issue Brief. The Contractor shall draft the Issue Brief. The text shall be reviewed by investigators and project officers, as well as other dictated by quality assurance procedures, and the contractor shall make revisions accordingly. The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Under authority of Far 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest by responding to the requirement within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation is available.
