Description

The Government intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a firm-fixed-price (FFP) order with the Health Federation of Philadelphia. This non-competitive action is being issued by GovWorks under the authority of the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI) Franchise Fund on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Public Health and Science, Regional Health Administrator, Region III. This action is being processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, and solicited in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Government has a requirement to conduct a cross-sectional evaluation of the current child obesity problem and the obesity programs in Regions II and III. The period of performance for this effort shall not exceed 12 months from the date of award. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities or submit proposals. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 5 working days after the date of publication of this synopsis.
