- Synopsis: This is a fixed-price spares buy for 1764EA Nonrechargeable Batteries, NSN 6135-01-421-1052CX, P/N 500233-000 applicable to the EGI System, limited to approved sources only. Limited Sources are Honeywell Corporation (CAGE 0BFA5), Mathews Associates (CAGE 4U927), and SAFT America (CAGE 7X634). All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.
