Description

The Smithsonian Institution is seeking proposals from experienced architect-engineering firms to lead a design/build team for the National Museum of American History Public Space Renewal. The Scope of Work for the first phase utilizes an existing pre-concept document as the starting point, as well as addressing architect-engineering issues not addressed by the pre-concept documents. Phase I then proceeds to the schematic and design development phases. Optional Phase II produces construction documents. Optional Phase III is construction. Other optional phases may be required. Some of the components from Phase I may be separated for early fast-track construction.
