Description

This solicitation is for establishing a five-year IDIQ contract for phosphate fluoride coating of the following components: B-2 Fittings, 8 ea; B-2 M Upper Drag Brace, 8 ea; B-2 M Lower Drag Brace, 8 ea; B-2 NLG Mount, 4 ea; B-2 Striker, 8 ea; B-2 Upper Torsion Link, 4 ea; B-2 Lower Torsion Link, 4 ea. The contractor shall provide phosphate fluoride coating applied to titanium parts on the B-2 weapons system in accordance with the statement of work. Delivery Date or Period of Performance: Five year ordering period (IDIQ). The only acceptable source is Barns Aerosapce, 1483 West 2550 South, Ogden UT 84401. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
