Description

Furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment; and perform all work in strict accordance with these specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the repairs to and reroofing of buildings 128, 434, 21, 221, 410 and 100 at the Annis ton Army Depot. Work will include but not limited to the following items: (a) Complete tearoff of existing roofing at the buildings. Replacmeent of the roofing will consists of an EPDM (fully adhered over mechanically fastened isocyanurate insulation) roof systems on the roof of buliding 21, 221 and new metal roofing on the roofs of buildings 434, 410 and 100 and portions of buidings 221. (b) In conjunction with replacment of roof, new gutters downspouts, and flashing will also be installed on all bu ldings as defined by these specifications and drawings. (c) Building 128 roofing work will consist of repairing or replacing protions of the existing roofing system that may include guitter, metal roof panels, and or flashing as defined in the contract d rawings applicable to this building. This will also include cleaning out and repairing if needed the existing gutter drainage system as defined on the drawings. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is: 23561 The size standard is $11.5 Million Estimated magnitude of the project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. One Job. Completion time is 270 days after notice to proceed. THIS PROJECT IS RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ELIGIBLE 8(a) FIRMS WITHIN THE STATE OF ALABAMA. Estim ated Request for Quotation issue date is 27 NOV 01. This Solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
