Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is seeking potential sources for a 400 hertz to 60 hertz power converter to convert 208 volts, three (3) phase power for an air conditioning unit. Product should be enclosed in a National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) or weather tight enclosure and capable of continuous or intermittent operation in conditions of environmental extreme and rough terrain. The product must be capable of handling 10 KW of power, with an approximate size of 18 x18 x12 inches or smaller. Firms possessing the capabilities to accomplish this requirement are invited to submit a statement of qualification, enclosing product literature, customer information, current Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) schedule information and price schedules/catalogs. The scope of this RFI may result in the procurement of a commercially available power converter. Proprietary information submitted in response to this synopsis will be protected when clearly identified as proprietary. Responses to this RFI should be received no later than December 17, 2001. Product information shall be submitted to the Marine Corps Systems Command, Attn: CTQ3RC, Bldg 2033, Suite 315, Quantico, VA 22134-5010.
