Description

CONTRACT INFORMATION: Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 the Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, intends to increase the contract capacity to Olympic Associates existing contract to perform the services described below. The bilateral modification will be on a sole source basis and will be for an increase of $300,000.00. If an AE is interested and believes they are capable of performing this work, they are invited to submit their letter of interest at fax number 907/753-2544 (ATTN: Wohlbach). All responders are advised that this project may be cancelled or revised at any time during the solicitation, evaluation, negotiation and final award. Modification award is anticipated for December 2001. 2. PROJECT INFORMATION: Anticipated services may include value engineering and studies of project features and design systems. The services could also include facilitiating an early concept (0%) to approximately 20% design functional analysis, architectural charrette workshop using VE methodology. The AE shall be capable of completing any study in less than 4 weeks from award of the task order. A SAVE certified value specialist (CVS) must be an in-house discipline. Letters of interest from responding firms MUST be received at the address indicated above not later than COB (4:00 pm Alaska time) on the 30th day from the date of this announcement. If the 30th day is a Saturday, Sunday, or Federal holiday, the deadline is the close of business of the next business day. Any letters received after this date cannot be considered. No additional information shall be provided. Solicitation packages are not provided. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.*****
