Description

The Colville National Forest requires tree planting services on the Three Rivers, Sullivan Lake and Newport Ranger Districts. The services will be located in Ferry, Stevens and Pend Oreille Counties, Washington. The contract will be an indefinite quantity and will have an option for the Forest?s fiscal year 2003 requirements. For fiscal year 2002, the Forest is currently estimating 105 acres on the Three Rivers Ranger District and 295 acres on the Sullivan Lake and Newport Ranger Districts. For fiscal year 2003, the current estimate is 147 acres on the Three Rivers Ranger District and 220 acres on the Newport and Sullivan Lake Ranger Districts. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools and transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. Services will include, but not limited to: hand tree planting. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about December 21, 2001. The contract period of performance will be spring of 2002. Quotes are estimated to be due January 31, 2002. NAICS code is 115310. The project is 100 percent small business set-aside. The total estimated price range for both years is between $25,000 and $100,000.
