Description

This is a notice of OMB Circular A-76 Performance of Commercial Activities for Installation Operations at the US Army Garrison, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Services include operation and maintenance of utilities, boiler plants, steam and electric; E nvironmental services to include asbestos and lead abatement, pest management, and land management; Housing services to include assignments and terminations, custodial services, maintenance and repair, and furnishings management; Operation of Logistics Distribution Center to include requisitioning, receiving, issue/turn-ins, shipping, storage, laundry, property book/accountability, HAZMAT stock control, and troop issue subsistence management; Transportation services to include maintaining, administering and operating central mobile equipment pools, provision of office relocation services, administration of personal property inbound and outbound movement services, and administration of passenger and port call movement fun ctions; Ammunition and explosives support including stock control and supply support; Facility maintenance to include carpentry, roofing, locksmithing, painting, plumbing, metalworking and masonry; roads and grounds to include maintenance and repair of sur faced areas and signs; Equipment support for motor pool, small office repairs and test facilities; and work reception. If cost comparison results in contracting out the services, the Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced contract. Contract w ill be awarded on an ALL or None Basis for a base year and four one-year options.
