Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to solicit for purchase 100 each Capacitor, Fixed, Mica Dielectric, High Voltage, Westinghouse P/N 645A702H02, Rev M, NSN: 5910-01-312-9781. The drawing for this item is considered source controlled. The only approved source of supply known for this item is Custom Electronics P/N CER3A4740SP and Axel P/N MP50215W. These items are being purchased for the National Weather Service, to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. As this part is in support of current NEXRAD program, alternative or like items would not be acceptable without extensive testing. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. Any small business sources, able to provide the exact make and model of the equipment referenced herein is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 calendar days after its publication. Interested firms should submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the specified equipment. Also include the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other government agencies to which it has previously provided the item.
