Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office in Dallas, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution in El Reno, Oklahoma. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is a firm, fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity and requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Year are as follows: 225 inpatient days, 104 outpatient visits. The estimated quantities for each option period are as follows: 540 inpatient days, 250 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be available on or about November 16, 2001 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
