Description

The Army requires a contract for Laundry Services. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and transportation necessary to perform all phases of laundry service for Fort Stewart and Hunter Arm y Airfield. All phases of laundry operations shall be conducted at a contractor owned-contractor operated facility that is fully equipped with equipment of such design and operational features as to specifically handle army linen, military gear (TA-50), a nd uniforms. Work to be performed shall be in accordance with the services as listed on the bid price schedule. Performance shall be according to the standards and directives listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement action. All responsible businesses may submit a bid. The SIC is 7218; the NAICS is 812332. Magnitude of the project is between $1M and $5M. Services shall begin March 1, 2002 or within 10 calendar days after contract award, whichever is la ter, and continue through February 28, 2003. The solicitation contains options to extend the term of the resulting contract for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. Bid opening date and time will be placed on the solicitation at time of issue. Plea se do not request paper copies of the solicitation as they will not be available.
