Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, plant, material, parts, transportation, and incidentals necessary for performance of the SABER contract at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. This solicitation is reserved for Section 8(a), Region 6 (Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisana). Two firm-fixed priced Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contract will result from this solicitation. The basic and four one-year option periods shall not exceed $5,000,000 per year per contract, for a total estimated price of $50,000,000. The firms selected for these contracts shall be multi-disciplined as projects under these contracts may include renovations/ additions to existing building, new construction, inclusive of facilities associated with these structures (utilities, parking facilities, etc). Demolition of some existing structures may be necessary, which may involve asbestos removal. These projects will emphasize mechanical and electrical with multi-disciplined capabilities to include civil, architectural, structural, and environmental, as a minimum. This serves as a combination Synopsis and Pre-solicitation Notice as required by FAR 36.213-2. Any contractors receiving this as a pre-solicitation notice and does not want to receive future pre-invitation notices should advise this office. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on/about 14 Dec 01 on the Government's Electronic Posting System at http://www.eps.gov.
