Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, Florida, intends to award a purchase order to Demaree Inflatable Boats, Friendsville, MD for acquisition of the following components: Sponson, Starboard Side, P/N 11M697STARBOARD, 4 Each, Sponson, Portside,P/N 11M697PORT, 4 Each. This acquisition is unsuitable for full and open competition for the following reason: Demaree is the only company approved by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) to obtain these parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Demaree was the initial supplier of these items and no other U.S. distributor has been located.
