Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire on a full and open competitive basis Maintenance and Material Management Support Services for the Service School Command (SERVSCOLCOM), Great Lakes, IL. Specific functions include diesel maintenance; diesel gauge calibration; cargo/weapons elevator (CWE) maintenance; damage controlman (DC) maintenance; hull technician (HT) maintenance; machinery repairman (MR) maintenance; machine shop maintenance; calibration (Mechanical); calibration (Electrical/Electronic); non-destructive metal testing (NDT); non-nuclear welding; STRAND (Electronic Technician (ET)/Fire Controlman (FC)) maintenance; gun school maintenance; electronic security systems maintenance (ESSM)/Shore Communication Equipment Maintenance (SHORECOMM); Information Systems Technician (IT) maintenance; Seamanship training (SN/QM/SM) maintenance; 2-M support of contractor operation and maintenance service (COMS) Simulator equipment; Advanced Electronics Technical Core (AETC) maintenance; MK-86 Gunfire Control System (GFCS) maintenance; Command 3-M Systems Coordination; Departmental 3-M Systems Coordination; and Divisional 3-M Systems Coordination. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, test equipment, diagnostics, manuals, schematic drawings and any other items necessary to perform these services. The solicitation shall contain a requirement for a base period of performance beginning 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003 with four (4) one-year renewal option periods. A firm-fixed price type of contract is anticipated. Offerors shall be required to submit price and technical proposals. The applicable North Amercian Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard are 811219 and $5M, respectively.
