Description

The USAF Academy Operational Contracting office has a requirement for a contractor to provide Mesh Athletic shorts for the Cadet Wing. The Academy seeks to acquire an estimated quantity of 4000 pairs of shorts mens and womens sizes small to XXXL, each year for a total of five years. This proposed contract would be a firm fixed price requirements contract with a base year and four option years. Exact sizes and quantities will be published with the solicitation with delivery required 30 April 2002. First articles shall be required within 30 days after date of contract award. Request for proposal will be issued on or about 15 December 2001. Delivery shall be FOB Destination USAF Academy, Colorado. Potential contractors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the requirements of the Buy American Act and particularly FAR Part 25 and the DFARS Part 225.
