Description

The Army Telecommunications Directorate (ATD) has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services at Fort Riley, KS. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certified by the state of Kansas, shall provide local commercial communications service for Fort Riley, which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, local exchange access analog trunks, local exchange access digital trunks, and local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunk, directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAIC Codes 51331 and 51333 (formerly SIC code 4813) with size standard of 1500 employees. This requirement shall be a commercial fixed price type contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about November 21, 2001. The Government will conduct a pre-proposal conference and site visit on December 7, 2001 at Fort Riley, Building 808, Room 133. The conference will be from 8:00-9:30 (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 9:30 11:00. Those wishing to attend the conference shall submit a list of all attendees (not to exceed 3 per company) to Commander, Army Signal Command, ATTN: AFSC-LOO (Kim Wentrcek), Bldg 61801, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613-5000, (520) 538-6115, kim.wentrcek@hqasc.army.mil and James Baker, DAC DOIM bakerj1@riley.army.mil prior to November 27, 2001. The list shall include full names of attendees and position titles. A copy of the individual's photo ID must be included with the request to attend the pre-proposal conference. Additionally, for security purposes, attendees must be prepared to show photo identification when entering Fort Riley.
