- Description
- The Army requires a contract for the furnishing of all personnel, management and resources necessary to perform the Operation, Maintenance and Annual Support of the Red Cloud Range to support scheduled and unscheduled training. Resources to be furnished b y the Government will be identified in the Solicitation. The Red Cloud Range Complex consists of seven (7) range facilities designed to support Combat, Combat Support and Combat Service Support Gunnery Training Scenarios. Operation consists of, but is no t limited to, identifying the range scheduled training periods and providing continued operation of target systems during period of unit occupancy. Performance shall cover facilities, grounds, organizational, intermediate level and preventative maintenan ce on range materials, remote target devices and the operation of moving and stationary targets as required. SIC Code(s) for this project are 8744 and 7359. NAICS Code(s) 561210 and 532490. Project will be unrestricted with a Hubzone Price Evaluation Pr eference. All responsible businesses may submit an offer. Magnitude of this project is over $10,000,000. Performance period consists of a base year and four, one (1) year options. Performance to begin 1 OCT 02. The Government is considering the inclus ion of an award term incentive. Outstanding performance may be awarded with additional performance periods beyond the original 5 year contract period, but not to exceed 10 years. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price, best value contract as a result of this Solicitation. The Government is interested in maximizing competition. Industry may address the merits/difficulties of the suggested contract type via email with the Contracting Officer before the solicitation is released (approx. 15 day s).
