Description

Point of contact for this solicitation is Sandy Thomson @ 206-764-6865. The project consists of blasting, painting and seal replacement for the penstock gates and bulkheads at Libby Dam. The project includes the addition of a bypass valve system to the upper bulkhead pieces in order to allow the inlet of water between the bul khead and penstock gate. Cathodic protection will be added to the bulkheads. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications package. The estimated dollar value is in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000 with a completion peri od of 240 calendar days. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 234990 and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1629 with size standard of $27.5 million. This procurement is open to all business sizes. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on Seattle District U S Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in electronic format only. No disks will be mailed.
