Description

A/E shall provide all servcies for the design of "replace drain, waste, and vent piping in Bldg #1; replace steam valves in six (6) heaging zones; and replace domestic hot water recirculation valves in the basement crawl space, at tha VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY. Project will include demolition, asbestos removal, pipe and valve replacement, insulation and related ceiling and wall replacement as necessary for access. Design is to include preparation of complete specifications, drawings, and construction cost estimates per latest VA guidelines. Drawings shall be prepared in ACAD 2000 format. Estimated construction cost is between $1.0 and $1.5 MIL. Design is to be complete and ready to bid within 120 calendar days after award. Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a 25-mile radus of the Louisville Metropolitan area. NAICS code 541310 with a small business size standard of $4.0 mil applies to this solicitation.
