Description

The Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO) intends to award a sole source, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Lockheed Martin for selected applied research projects in support of the BMDO Advanced Concepts Development Directorate. The period of performance is 24 months and an approximate total contract value not to exceed $10 million dollars. Under this contract, Lockheed Martin will be issued Task Orders to conduct research on and develop derivative missile defense and related missile and space system algorithms and advanced concepts using Lockheed Martin proprietary specifications and data previously developed for existing systems. Examples include the THAAD missile guidance software and the AEGIS radar control software . Award will be made pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304 (c) (1).
