Description

USAID/Namibia, through the Regional Contracting Office in Gaborone, Botswana, is planning to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for services of an individual to assist the Namibian Ministry of Trade and Industry in institutional capacity building, human resource development (training), project planning and conducting of feasibility studies related to its small and medium business development program. USAID contemplates a two-year non-personal services labor-hour or time-and-materials contract. The RFP will be available in mid January with proposals due approximately 30 days thereafter. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (Microsoft Word 97 or 2000 format). Request for the solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk must be directed in writing to Ms. Hossana Agedew by fax at the number noted above or via e-mail: hagedew@usaid.gov. Any questions of substance should also be directed in writing to Hossana Agedew or Neil G. Price at the fax number or e-mail address noted above.
