Description

This is a Notice of Contract Action (NOCA). This NOCA is not a request for competitive proposal nor should it be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Electronic Systems Center, Combat Air Forces Command and Control Directorate intends to negotiate a sole source contract pursuant to 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) with Avtec, 4335 Augusta Highway, Gilbert, SC 29054-9275 to acquire a Communications Console for the Iowa Technology Center (ITC). The specific communication console is the 64 port DSPatch digital console system. The DSPatch communication console will enable the ITC to talk to aircraft for correlation checks beyond the range of internal radios. The period of performance is expected to be 60 days from contract award date. See Note 22. An Acquisition Ombudsman, Colonel Joseph P. Maryeski, Director, Commander's Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development. You should only contact the Ombudsman with issues or problems you cannot satisfactorily resolve with the program manager and/or contracting officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
