Description

The contractor shall provide VSM retrofit upgrade for 7300 VSM, Model 7300 ARW, temperature controller with 100W output, Model 340, and thermocouple card for the 340 temperature controller, Model 3464. This upgrade is for existing government-owned Lakesho re VSM. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to Lake Shore Cryotronics, Westerville, OH pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for VSM retrofit upgrades for which the government intends to solici t and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will n ormally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotes may be faxed to (410)278-6522.
