Description

Subject to final approval, the Bureau of the Public Debt intends to acquire on a sole-source basis through Leased Housing Developers Company (Lessor) an engineering study to evaluate the existing UPS/Uniblock Systems with recommendations to install a new dual UPS System with dual redundancy. This UPS System supplies back-up electrical power to the Office of Information Technology?s (OIT) critical operations located within the Data Center. In accordance with the Lease, the Lessor shall furnish to the Government as part of the rental consideration, all utilities, services, maintenance, operations, alterations, and other considerations as set forth in the Lease. The engineering study and the installation of the new UPS System must be completed by the Lessor so as not to nullify the Lessors requirements to maintain the premises in accordance with the terms of the Lease. No solicitation document is available. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If a written response to this notice has not been received by December 12, 2001, a sole-source award will be made.
