Description

Modification to correct response date (General Information). Community Corrections Center Services. Concerns having the ability for providing Community Corrections Center services for Federal offenders (male and female). Services required include care, custody, control accountability and treatment including medical care. The services described shall be in accordance with Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work dated December 2000 as amended November 2001. Location of the facility shall be in the Corpus Christi, Texas area . Operational hotel/motels will not be considered as a physical plant for this requirement. Contract base period is 2 years, with 3 one-year options to renew. Estimated total number of inmate days are 25,550 for the base period, 12,775 for the first, second and third option year respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is on or about January 4, 2002. Estimated closing date is March 4, 2002, 2:00p.m. local time. A firm-fixed price requirements contract is anticipated. This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloaded instructions.
