Description

POC: Sheila Reed, Contracting Officer (501)-257-1053 The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) of Little Rock, AR intends to negotiate a sole source firm-fixed price contract with BioGenex of San Ramon, CA for cost-per-test consumables. The purchase of the consumables includes a discount off the list price and the provision of an i6000 Consolidated Staining System which includes barcode, buffer carboys, printer, printer cable,IHC& ISH software and operator manual at no additional charge. Estimated annual usage is 12 consumable kits per year and the purchase of ancillary supplies as needed. BioGenex will also provide service and maintenance on the equipment for one year and on-site installation and training. This commercial item procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The period of performance for this requirement will consist of one base year beginning on or about December 12,2001 with (3) one-year options. The NAICS Code is 334516 and CBD Note 22 applies to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation will be forthcoming.
