Description
For all available information on this and all other current Seattle District Corps of Engineers projects, visit the Advertised Solicitations page of the Seattle District web site at http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct. The upcoming solicitation for this project will be Web Only. This means that plans and specifications will be issued electronically via the Seattle District website at the approximate date of December 13, 2001. No Compact Discs will be mailed to register ed planholders, however, prospective bidders must register at: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct to be notified via e-mail of changes and/or amendments to the solicitation. To insure that you are notified, check the accuracy of your email address. No phon e, fax or email registration requests accepted. This is a Pre-Solicitation notice to Construct a 5,183 SF language training facility at Fort Lewis, WA to provide classrooms, administration, instructor prep areas, equipment storage, library, and mechanical space. Construction of supporting utilities, pa ving, walkways, fire protection, alarm systems, telecommunications, and site improvements is included. Estimated dollar value is between $1,000,000 $5,000,000. The completion period is 365 calendar days. The solicitation for this project will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS), and will be available to download on or about 13 December 2001 at: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct. No CDs or Hard Copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for chec king the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice. The website is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror s inability to access the document posted at th e referenced website. When you register, please do so as a Prime, Sub or Plans Room. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code has been replaced by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code. The NAICS code for this project is 23332 -- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, which is matched to SIC Co de 1542 -- General Contractors -- Nonresidential Buildings, Other than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to subm it a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $27.5 million.
