Description

Services of an Architectural/Engineering firm are requested to provide design services including but not limited to preparation of construction documents, as-built drawings, and certain other construction period services. Project will relocate the Progressive Care Unit from the 7th floor of Building 1 to the 3rd floor of Building 26, adjacent to the ICU=92s and directly below the new surgical suite.=20 The project will involve renovating approximately 5,500 square feet of unfinished space to create 8 new patient rooms which will be designed in such a way that staffing may easily be adjusted to handle fluctuations in workload among the MICU, SICU, and PCU Units. The unfinished space is in three separate areas of 3,000 square feet, 1,500 square feet, and 1,000 square feet. Design will include new walls, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, and other work necessary for a complete and functional PCU. Completion time is 180 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is from $100,000 to $250,000. Area of consideration is within a 60 mile radius of Kansas City, Missouri. The NAICS code is 514310. Award is subject to the availability of funds. Interested parties shall submit 3 copies of SF 254 and SF 255. See Numbered Notes 24 & 25. This project is physically located at 4801 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri.
