Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to issue a modification to increase the scope of contract N68936-00-D-0064 with Northrop Grumman Field Support Services, Inc of Jacksonville, FL, on a sole source basis. The procurement is for engineering support for the F-14 Weapons System Support Activity (WSSA) in Operational Flight Program (OFP) origination and F-14A/B upgrade program. Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the F-14 aircraft. The scope of work includes engineering services leading to the development and modification of F-14A/B/D aircraft systems providing new capabilities and continuation of the F-14A/B upgrade program to increase the airframes survivability. The contract is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type with tasks being ordered via individual task orders. The period of performance will be increased by 2 years to 29 September 2000 through 28 September 2005. The existing level of effort of 120,060 hours will be increased by approximately 70,005 hours. This is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22.
