Description

To provide all labor, materials, parts supplies & supervision to replace elevator controls & door operators for Passenger & Service Elevators S-1 and S-2 in Bldg 3A as specified in the SOL. ALL WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED AT THE CENTRAL ALABAMA VETERANS HEALTH SYSTEM LOCATED AT 2400 HOSPITAL RD, TUSKEGEE, AL. Work DOES NOT INCLUDE the following since these elevators (S-1 & S-2) shall retain existing overhead geared traction machines, secondary sheaves, machine beams, main and counterweight rails, buffers, counterweights, entrance frames, sills, hanger supports, strut angles, fascia plates and toe guards, slings and governors, hoist cables, governor cable, car safety devices, platforms, cabs, car and hoistway doors. TO ARRANGE A SITE VISIT CONTRACTORS MUST CONTACT MS BESSIE HARRIS AT (334) 727-0550 ext 3969. Do NOT call the Contracting Officer to arrange site visits. EST construction cost between $100,000 and $250,000. All work to be completed within 365 days after NTP. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds and is unrestricted. NAICS code is 235310. SOL must be downloaded from the website listed in this announcement. The VA will provide NO hard copies.
