DESC: COVER, ACCESS, Part Number 11826122, Offerors are hereby notified of the following requirement: In order to receive the technical data package, all offerors are required to execute a non-disclosure agreement binding each offeror to the terms and conditions of the agreement. Copies of the non-disclosure agreement may be found as an attachment to the solicitation posted on the web. The non-disclosure agreement must be signed by an official authorized to legally bind the company. Upon execution of the non-disclosure agreement, return by mail (TACOM-RI, AMSTA-LC-CSC-A/Kelly Dexter, Rock Island, IL 61299-7630) or data fax to (309) 782-3813, Attn: Kelly Dexter. Upon receipt of the signed non-disclosure agreement, a technical data package will then be mailed to the offeror. The item to procure is a COVER, ACCESS, FRONT IS A .097MM THICK STEEL STRIP, 1040, SPHEROIDIZED AND APPROXIMATELY 22.95MM WIDE X 155MM. Requirements are 3,300, COVER, ACCESS. FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the M240 MACHINE GUN. Estimated issue date is 14 DEC 2001. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
