Description

The contractor shall perform research and development of conventional ballistics survivability/lethality/vulnerability (SLV) methodologies and associated documentation to conduct ballistic SLV analysis. The sole source contractor is Applied Research Assoc iates, Inc., (ARA), Albuquerque, New Mexico. ARA possesses direct experience in the development of Modular UNIX-based Vulnerability Estimation Suite (MUVES/S2). They are also the developer of the Blast Effectiveness Against Mobile Systems (BEAMS) code an d support the software development of the Operational Requirement-based Casualty Assessment(ORCA)codes. The period of performance is three (3) years. Neither telephone, facsimile, nor electronic mail requests for the solicitation shall be honored.
