Description

Request for quotes for a Firm Fixed Price contract for the transportation of Department of Veterans Affairs Beneficiary Patients (Veterans) from Ridgecrest to Bakersfield Outpatient Clinic (OPC), Bakersfield, California. Bakersfield OPC is located at 1801 West Wind Drive, Bakersfield, California 93301. The contractor will provide a 12-passenger handicapped van, equipped with air conditioning, heating, and 2-way telephone communications for emergency situations. All vehicles must meet California State, County and City laws and regulations, must be registered and inspected by the authorized inspecting and registration agency within the jurisdiction of the area of operation. Service will be once a week, on each Wednesday, with the exception of Government holidays. There will be two (2) specified routes, which will be followed and alternated on Wednesdays, ROUTE 1: County Building 400 N. China Lake Blvd., Ridgecrest, California; County Building, 1775 Highway 58, Mojave, California; County Building, 125 East F Street, Tehachapi, California; Bakersfield CBOC, 1801 West Wind Drive, Bakersfield, California; ROUTE 2: County Building, 400 N. China Lake Blvd., Ridgecrest, California; Lake Isabella Senior Center, 6409 Lake Isabella Blvd. Lake Isabella, California; Bakersfield CBOC, 1801 West Wind Drive, Bakersfield, California. Contractor will be required to keep a log of all passengers, noting patients name time/date of trip and submitted to the Bakersfield Site Manager. The Contractor shall provide all licenses, materials, equipment and personnel necessary to perform the required services. The contract is for a six (6) month period with two (2) six (6) month renewal options.
