Description
The USAF will issue an RFP for the Repair/Overhaul of the Convergent Liner Assembly. NSN: 2840-01-003-9138NZ P/N: 4084791, Predominant material: Columbium; Size/ Dimensions: 13.3 inches long X 3.72 inches wide. This item serves as a heat shield for the convergent nozzle segment of the augmentor applicable to the F100/200/220 engine of the F15/16 fighter aircraft. Anticipated solicitation issue date: 27DEC01. Anticipated award date: 31MAR01. A firm-fixed price, Requirements contract with a one-year basic and 4 one-year option ordering periods will be issued. Estimated quantities: Basic Year: 10,800 each, Option 1: 10,800 each, Option 2: 10,800 each, Option 3: 10,800 each, Option 4: 10,800 each. Contractor is to provide all labor, parts, services, and testing to accomplish overhaul and repair. Repair to be done IAW Statement of Work, Engineering Instructions and Quality Plan Requirements. The specification is T.O. 2JF100-13-10/WP 313 00 for inspection and WP 412 00 for repair. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved and qualified IAW with the Qualification Requirements. NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or Potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor Concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict Confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
