Description

The point of contact is Contract Specialist Bonilie L Lackey (206)764-4481. The Seattle District Appraisal Branch, Real Estate Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is requesting solicitations on a rate per day to prepare real estate appraisal reports in Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon. The appraisal reports should co nform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and to the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions. A wide variety of urban and rural property types are appraised. The purpose of the appraisals is to provide an estimat e of market rent and/or market value for leasing purposes, outgrants on military bases, rental values of government quarters, acquisition and use of private lands or support of values for exchanges. A professional designation is preferred. A current gen eral certification in the State where the work is to be performed will be mandatory. Experience in testimony in Federal Court is desirable. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Co ntracting Web page in electronic format only. No disks will be mailed. Firms must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to receive notification about amendments. Registered firms will be notified via email when solicitation is available to download. Please ensure your email address is correct in order to receive prompt notifications. Solicitation will be issued on or about 23 January 2002 with proposals due on or about 26 February 2002. Propose d procurement will result in a fixed-price contract for one base year plus 4 option year periods. This announcement is not an RFP. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code has been replaced by the North American Industry Classification System ( NAICS) Code. The NAICS code for this project is 531390, which is matched to SIC Code 6531. Project is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross r evenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $1.5 million.
