Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F25600-02-T-0019 is issued as a request for quotations. 55 CONS intends to issue a purchase order for TWO (2) CUSTOM-MADE DISPLAY CASES FOR BUILDING 432 ON OFFUTT AFB, NE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH THE LABOR, EQUIPMENT, AND MATERIAL NEEDED TO PERFORM ALL OPERATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE MANUFACTURE AND INSTALLATION OF (2) DISPLAY CASES. THE CASES SHALL BE DELIVERED AND ASSEMBLED (AS REQUIRED) IN THE DOUGHERTY CONFERENCE CENTER NLT 4 FEB 02. ALL DEBRIS AND OTHER MATERIAL RESULTING FROM THE WORK ACCOMPLISHED WILL BE DISPOSED OF BY THE CONTRACTOR OUTSIDE THE CONFINES OF OFFUTT AFB. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS AND IS SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT. 1) THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONSTRUCT THE DISPLAY CASES TO SPECIFICATIONS IAW THE DRAWINGS TITLED ?DISPLAY CASES FOR HISTORY DISPLAY AT DOUGHERTY CONF CTR,? DATED 21 NOV 01. 2) THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONSTRUCT THE DISPLAY CASES AWAY FROM OFFUTT AFB. THEN THE CONTRACTOR SHALL DELIVER AND ASSEMBLE (AS REQUIRED) THE CASES AT THE GOVERNMENT-DESIGNATED AREA WITHIN DOUGHERTY CONFERENCE CENTER. 3) THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO SET UP AND MAINTAIN A PERIMETER AT THE REQUIRED DISTANCE TO PROTECT BUILDING PATRONS FROM CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS. 4) THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING INTERIOR WALL FINISHES AND CARPET, AND MAKING REPAIRS TO ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE DISPLAY CASE INSTALLATION. 5) THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING A SITE VISIT AFTER AWARD TO CONFIRM ANY MEASUREMENTS THAT ARE NEEDED TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL THE DISPLAY CASES IN DOUGHERTY CONFERENCE CENTER. 6) THE DISPLAY CASE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION SHALL BE WARRANTED FOR 2 YEARS AFTER ACCEPTANCE BY THE GOVERNMENT. This solicitation is issued as a 100 percent small business set-aside; the NAICS Code is 337215; the NAICS size standard is 500 employees; and the SIC Code is 2542. All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database BY AWARD DATE will make a bidder ineligible for award. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE.
