Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk, VA 23511, ALLEGANY BALLISTICS LABORATORY, ALLIANT TECHSYSTEMS, ROCKET CENTER, WV. The project involves renovation to an existing, occupied, administrative building. Renovation work consists of miscellaneous demolition; metal stud and gypsum board partitions with sound control insulation; suspended ceilings; porcelain tile; carpet; vinyl wallcovering; wood doors with hollow metal frames and hardware; miscellaneous specialties; HVAC system modifications; fire protection system modifications; electrical power and lighting; communication wiring; and incidental related work. Estimated cost is in the range of $250,000 to $500,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or after December 20, 2001. The bid opening date has not been set, but will be approximately January 21, 2001. Bonds will be required. West Virginia Contractors License must be submitted prior to commencement of work by Contractor and subcontractors. A mandatory Pre-bid conference will be held.
