Description

Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, RI intends to acquire from Interface Engineering on a sole source basis (1)one each Submersible multi-axis Rotator w/controllers per specifications provided as Attachment #1 to the solicitation. Interface Engineering, Inc., is the designer and fabricator of the rotator controller presently being utilized in the Acoustic Test Facility is the only known company that can upgrade the existing units to provide this material. Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items will be utilized for this acquisition. Delivery will be FOB destination, Newport, Rhode Island, 60 days after contract award. This is 100% set aside for small business. NAICS CODE is 332999 standard size is 500 employees.
