- Description
- The project entails the replacement of a 200 foot section of the east pier with a rubblemound section. Structural members will be placed at 20 feet intervals in both the east and west pier to supplement/replace the existing tie rods and prevent future failures. Capstones will be moved and repositioned to facilitate the work. This project is unrestricted. The estimated cost range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The solicitation will be available on the Detroit District's website at www.lre.usace.army.mil on or about 4 January 2002.
