(This was modified on 12/5/01. See below) This is a sole source procurement for 6 Blodgett Combi oven/steamers, hatchable, 440V, 60hz, model COS-5HD (double). This i s the only oven approved for shipboard use per the Naval Surface Warfare Center Habitability Catalog. These items will be p rocured under commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. This will be a firm fixed price ty pe contract, FOB destination. All offerors are put on notice that in accordance with FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation will hav e a less than 30 day response time. All responsible sources may submit offer/bid which, if received in a timely manner, shal l be considered by Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound. The ovens will be delivered to GSA Warehouse/Auburn Washingt on, within 60 days of award of contract. This will be a web posted solicitation at the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.m il. The government will issue no hard copy solicitation or amendment.
