Description

Provide ice cream products to the John D. Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 42243. Projected period of service is from date of award through February 1, 2002, with three pre-priced option years. Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be available on December 6, 2001. Requests for IFB 553-13-02, ice cream products, shall be submitted in writing to the John D. Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Acquisition Management (001R-A), 4646 John R. Street, Detroit MI 48201. Requests may also be submitted via facsimile at (313) 576-1077. Contractors are responsible for verifying requests for IFB 553-13-02 have been received in the contract office. Telephone or internet requests will not be accepted. All requests must reference solicitation IFB 553-13-02. Bid opening date is January 9, 2002, at 10:00 am local time, in room B4213 at the John D. Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI. Solicitations received after the bid opening will not be considered. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. See numbered Note 1.
