Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound, WA has a requirement for the following items: 1.)3,600 ft of Phillystrand shipboard rope P/N PSWR-040 or equal. 2.) 245 each BTC shackle anchor P/N 640-2106 or equal. 3.) 245 each Wichard carbine hook P/N 2326 or equal 4.) 800 ft of wire rope ? inch diameter 6X19 Class IWRC. 5.) 160 each Turnbuckle w/sister hook Electroline P/N NS4950 or equal. 6.) Clevis Fitting w/sister hook Electroline P/N NS4850 or equal. 7.) 320 each Insulator Electroline P/N SP558. Delivery shall be F.O.B. destination Travis AFB, CA within 90 days after date of award. The acquisition will be solicited utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 12 Commercial Acquisition. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 11 December 2001 with quotes due on or about 18 December, 2001. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to "brad_e_demers@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.=20
