Description
See Note 22. GovWorks Procurement Operations Branch, Minerals Management Service, of the Department of the Interior, in support of the Redstone Technical Test Center (RTTC), Redstone Arsenal, AL, has a requirement to replace an aging Ling Model MDA-5 Modular Power Amplifier at their Dynamic Test Branch facility at Redstone Arsenal, Building 4500. Replacement of the obsolete power amplifier will greatly reduce RTTC maintenance costs and interruptions to test schedules while providing a significant increase in performance. The replacement amplifier is required to enable RTTC to continue its Dynamic Test mission. The required power amplifier modules must be 100 percent compatible with existing Unholtz-Dickie Class D 30 KVA amplifier modules, and the Government cannot and will not consider substitutions. Thus, the Government intends to procure one (1) each of the following items from Unholtz-Dickie Corp: 1) SAB-30 30 KVA Power Amplifier, 2) SAB-30RC Remote Control, 3) SAB-30C Remote Control Cable (85 ft), 4) SAB-30FS Field Supply for C395 Shaker, 5) SAB-30CO 1-day CHeckout at RTTC by Contractor. The reason for this notice is to determine if there are other companies with the capability of meeting the specifications, a 90-day delivery response, and terms and conditions of this commercial item, firm-fixed-price requirement, with FOB Destination. All shipping and handling costs must be included in the proposed price. Commercial item FAR clauses 52.212-1, -3, -4, & -5 apply to this solicitation, an may be downloaded from http://farsite.hill.af.mil or obtained from the contracting officer. FAR 52.212-3 has Representations and Certifications which must be completed and returned with the proposal. Vendors are required to provide their DUNS and TIN numbers with the proposal, and be able to accept electronic payment.
